The symposium aims to be a forum for policymakers, researchers, and political stakeholders to discuss the implementation of the European Migration Pact with a focus on return policy and migration hubs. The event is a natural succession of a previous conference in December 2025 organized by WB-NSC on managing migration. Many parliamentarians, policy advisors and others participated in this event.
The event will explore how European member states can practically implement the new system, what institutional and political challenges arise, and how cooperation between European and national actors can contribute to a more coherent and sustainable migration policy. By bringing together participants from political parties, policy institutions, and the research community, the event will strengthen dialogue within the European political family and contribute to a broader European debate on migration governance.
